movie updates, silver pants, Michelin-approved tacos
I think I've diagnosed the problem. The minute I suggested that people sign up for this newsletter to get "jaunty, periodic updates" on Where in the Hell, I froze. The stakes were too high. The edit took a long time. There weren't that many updates!(ツ)/¯
But you're not judging me. You're here for the pants too, aren't you? And the tacos?
Anyhoo.
I do have updates this month. Very solid updates 🙌🏼
Where in the Hell has been awarded a ReFrame Stamp, “a mark of distinction for projects that have demonstrated gender-balanced hiring,” both behind and in front of the camera. I'm really proud of this.
We've locked picture. Meaning, we're done with the edit. It's locked. No more shuffling anything around. We've also locked down the music licensing, completed the sound edit, and done the final sound mix. Holy shit.
The last big step is the color grading, which we have not yet done. We're still raising the last pieces of finishing funds.
IT'S A MARATHON, MY DUDES
I'm picturing you on the sidelines, handing me and R cups of water as we stumble past. Or, like, those squeezy packs of peanut butter.
