This has been my mantra for past few weeks. I'm closing in on yet another draft of LIFE ON sMARS, and every little thing seems hard. Every little fix. 

Mostly it's just fucking hard to sit down and do the work—I think because I'm afraid it won't come out PERFECT and FINISHED and PERFECT. I have to remind myself this is not the last draft I'll ever write. It's just the this one, and it's much improved, and that has to be enough.

This month in tacos: Last night we went to Guisados* and ordered our usual quesadilla (fried cheese) con chorizo, two each, plus R had a steak picado and I tried the fish. It was fine! Good slaw. But I'm not changing my regular order.

This month in oat milk: Are you into oat milk yet? We've been buying Oatly ("Wow no cow!") in both original and chocolate, and I really like it in my coffee. More than grass-fed half & half, even. GAHD I'M A YUPPIE. Am I a yuppie?? What's the word for Not A Hipster Not A Yuppie But Buys Fancy Milk.
