Once a month, I turn up for The Homework Club, a kind of Zoom support group/workshop for artists run by the genius art therapist Beth Pickens.
This month, Beth addressed the topic of fear. When pressed, I admitted in the chat that my biggest fear is appearing overly earnest.
Wow, it just occurred to me, is that why I sometimes drag my feet sending this letter? (YEP.) Friends, I agonize, in a bizarre effort to keep from looking like I'm trying too hard.
